USA Hockey Registration - WHY????
The major benefit for the players is the insurance coverage USA Hockey provides its members. This

In addition, you have to be a USA Hockey rostered team to play other USA Hockey rostered teams. If you’re not USA Hockey rostered, other USA Hockey rostered teams and the Referees could potentially be without their liability insurance coverage.
Reading to understand more fully why we require and will continue to require this.

Hi Ladies.
Greenfield were supposed to host MIT for our last game of the season on Mar. 31 at 3:00, but they had to cancel. They would hate to give up our ice time that day and thought it would be fun to have an end-of-season scrimmage instead. Hilary is checking with Brattleboro, and we were wondering if any of the players on your teams would be interested, as well (assuming you don’t have another game scheduled that day!).
