There’s a lot that goes into organizing and managing this team- and we would love more involvement from our players! I’d like to have the opportunity out on the table for our team to be more involved with the behind-the-scene action!

Tournament Info

Posted by Cheshire Ice Cats at May 9, 2018 5:44AM PDT

Some questions have come up concerning the tournament weekend. Due to the last-minute nature of this tournament, arena organizers were unable attract other Women’s teams to come play against us. There are other tournaments happening that weekend, plus most teams need more than a few weeks to make plans.
Tourney organizers asked that the Summer League organizers try and get their teams together to play and use this as a kick-off event. Similarly, many of the Men’s division teams are coming from the Men’s league.
If any Ice Cat is interested in playing in the June 22nd Tournament, but doesn’t want to commit to Summer league, there definitely will be teams that need subs. Please contact Desi 603-903-5131 or dfisk830@yahoo.com

Super-Summer UPDATED Info

Posted by Jodie Ballaro at May 8, 2018 12:02PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

Registration is still available for off-season play. Please sign up ASAP if you are interested in being on a team! As of now there will only be 4 teams. If there’s enough, we will make the leap to 6 teams. we will NOT be playing in the tournament weekend, so the cost will be under $200 for the Summer league, which includes a jersey. Either of these links should get you there. Any problems email jodie2ballaro@gmail.com.

USA Hockey Registration - WHY????

Posted by Cheshire Ice Cats at Apr 18, 2018 10:37AM PDT ( 0 Comments )

The major benefit for the players is the insurance coverage USA Hockey provides its members. This

In addition, you have to be a USA Hockey rostered team to play other USA Hockey rostered teams. If you’re not USA Hockey rostered, other USA Hockey rostered teams and the Referees could potentially be without their liability insurance coverage.

Reading to understand more fully why we require and will continue to require this.
