Hello Fellow Ice Cats,
Hope everyone is well and staying safe. A matter has come up that we wanted to touch base on. Per STATE regulations and protocol Keene Ice is asking everyone to get tested for Covid. This is there policy they have just notified us with to be able to provide a negative covid test within the dates of October 16th to November 6th. They may ask us as an organization to show that the skaters we have out on the ice can prove to have a negative covid test.
We are not asking to give me or Jill any medical papers, we feel we are all responsible enough that if we were asked to prove we have a negative test, we would let skaters know and they can present such papers themselves.
Beth did make a statement saying to NOT worry about this Sunday if you do not get tested in time, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SKATE SUNDAY.
The pre screening process is still in place and will need to be done prior going into the arena. You may not enter the arena until 15 minutes before practice as there policy.
As we all know this pandemic is somewhat stressful for everyone. We are all hockey lovers and enjoy spending quality time with everyone on the ice but we are not asking you to do something you are not comfortable with, this is just what Keene Ice is requiring of us as an organization.
Please reach out to me or Jill with any questions concerns or thoughts!
This Sundays (11/1/2020) skate is at 5:10pm, we hope to see you there!

As some of you might have heard or read the NH governor has shut ice rinks down for 2 weeks. This will mean no practices (Sunday, Oct 18 and 25) We will repost when we hear of a start up date and procedures for getting back on the ice.
Take care and stay well.
